Tasting in the Silo (seasonal May – September)
Our original ceramic-tile silo is an original — there’s nothing else like it in the area. This unique spot is the perfect place to enjoy a very special evening of tasting and learning about wine and different types of beer. Includes small plates pairing. (Scotch tasting – there is a supplemental fee).
Flower Arranging (seasonal May – November)
Tour the farm’s flower and herb gardens with our gardener, Ellen, to learn about how a wide variety of plants grow, and what they are used for. Gather supplies in the garden and return to the farmhouse for a workshop where you will create a flower arrangement in a vase or urn to take with you. We supply everything you need including the vessel.
Honey tasting and information (seasonal May – September)

Finish the workshop with a seasonal farmhouse lunch featuring . . . honey!
Archery (seasonal May – November)

Includes guided instruction and techniques for building a survival fort! Includes a guide, campfire, and hot beverage. Fun for your group and a great experience in the forest at any time of year.
Our Signature Tea Walk (seasonal)
What is the South Pond Tea Walk? A nourishing and invigorating herb blend, caffeine free, made from herbs grown on the farm. Enjoy it hot in the cooler months and iced in the summer. But it is not just the flavour that makes the tea it is the soil and water of the Moraine that lends flavours to the herbs grown here. Take the tea with you on a quiet stroll about the property. Go into our garden and enjoy the aromas of the flowers and herbs growing there or to the pond and sit for awhile, and maybe see the swans land or the otters playing in the water. Breathe deeply and take in the view of this special place on your journey.
Food at the Farm
Our experienced and creative kitchen craft every meal from scratch. We are an Ontario Feast On member which means we use locally sourced ingredients. We customize a menu to suit your group, and dietary needs are always accommodated.
Add to Your Experience
We know the area and know people who can add to your experience here at the farm.
We have a variety of small groups, classical or jazz or folk to choose from. Prices vary.
How often do you get outside into nature, to smell the fresh air, walk among trees or kick up some dirt? If you’re like most of us, the answer is: almost never.
According to recent surveys, we spend a depressing 93% of each week indoors. And according to the evidence, it’s hurting our health. Forest bathing, from the Japanese word shirin-yoku, means immersing yourself in nature.
