The goats are currently having some reno’s done to their usual paddock (or goat palace as we lovingly call it) meaning that lately they have been sharing pasture with the chickens. They get along surprisingly well, and it makes me wonder if perhaps they will be sad to be separated again…

I have noticed a rather strange occurrence over the last couple of weeks though. The goats have been climbing up onto the portable chicken coop! They are clearly very comfortable there and have no problem claiming it as their own. I somewhat envision them as the bigger older siblings staking out their territory. We really are just one big happy (sometimes strange!) family on all fronts.
