All You Need is Love & Liquor

3 Valentine’s Day Cocktail Recipes

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and whether you love the holiday or despise it, there’s one thing that’s for certain – regardless of your feelings, a good cocktail makes the day more enjoyable! Whether you’re head-over-heels in love or heartbroken, we’ve got a cocktail for you. Here are our top three favourites.

Be Mine
2oz cranberry infused vodka
2oz fresh blood orange juice
splash simple syrup
club soda
beet infused sugar

In a bowl, toss a piece of red beet with sugar until sugar is pink. Don’t worry, it won’t taste like beets, it just infuses it with natural red dye! Place sugar on a plate. Run a slice of lemon along edge of glass and dip into sugar before it dries to rim.

Mix cranberry vodka, blood orange juice and simple syrup into cocktail shaker with ice. (Mason Jar shakers are all the rage these days!). Shake and strain into glass. Top with club soda (optional).

Spirit of Love
1oz Grand Marnier
2oz fresh blood orange juice
Spirit Tree Pear Cider

Pour Grand Marnier and blood orange juice in bottom of flute glass. Top with pear cider (or substitute champagne).

Feeling Bitter
1oz Campari
1oz Dry Red Vermouth
1oz Dillon’s Gin
Lemon Juice Ice Cubes
Seville Orange Zest

In a glass, combine Campari, Vermouth and Gin. Stir. Add lemon juice ice cubes (simply place fresh squeezed lemon juice in ice cube tray and freeze). Or add splash of lemon juice and regular ice as substitute. Garnish with Seville orange zest.
